Attract higher-paying jobs and promote long-term economic stability through leadership that gives investors predictability and confidence, by nurturing existing businesses through "economic gardening", and by creating a business-friendly climate and quality of life that brings in new industry.

Hold the line on taxes and spending and require greater efficiency in government through comparative "report cards" from organizations such as the Florida Benchmarking Consortium and audits and efficiency reviews by the Comptroller's office.

Raise the Bar on Ethics, Accountability, and Transparency to eliminate the appearance of corruption and favoritism and strengthen whistle-blower protections. Also, change the culture of county government to make citizens the priority and engage you in the decisions that affect your community.

Protect our quality of life by keeping our streets safe, our schools strong, preserving our natural resources, and building community pride.
