Meet Teresa
Mayor Teresa Heitmann has been a dedicated Naples resident since 1988. She's been involved with various organizations, including Drug Free Collier and the Florida League of Cities – Civics in the Classroom Initiative. Her career spans marketing, purchasing, and long-range planning, working with notable companies. In 2008, she entered politics, serving two terms on the Naples City Council, where she chaired the Environmental and Energy Committee and was Secretary of the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council. Her key concerns include over-development, water runoff, and upholding Naples' ethical values. She resides in Aqualane Shores with her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Heitmann, and their three children.
